Overview
We're a bunch of Seattle Burners committed to providing bio-diesel shipping to our community. Our service encourages and supports ride sharing by providing an alternative way for drivers and passengers to get their stuff to and from BRC. We think that consolidated shipping and ride sharing can substantially decrease the environmental impact of our events and possibly shift the way we think about traveling. (more about us and what we hauled last year)
Our mission:
- to serve Burners in the Seattle area
- to support ridesharing by providing a consolidated shipping solution
- to decrease our collective consumption of gasoline
For example:
- If you're driving:
- Shipping two 22-gallon bins, your water & your bike makes space for at least 1 more person to share your gas and keep you entertained.
- If you're riding:
- Shipping four 22-gallon bins, your water, 40lbs. of gear & your bike lets you be a passenger without any gear to haul.
How It Works
- We haul almost anything (no Hazardous Materials and no emotional baggage!).
- You reserve space on our truck through our website. We take your online payments through PayPal.
- We have a storage unit in Seattle where you drop off your gear any day in August. The address and access codes will be emailed to you.
- We leave Seattle Thursday, August 21, and arrive at BRC on Sunday, August 24.
- We handle load-in and load-out of the truck. You pick up and drop off your gear in Seattle and BRC.
- Our camp location will be emailed to everyone who ships with us.
- We leave BRC Monday September 1. You pick up your stuff at our storage unit between September 5 and September 29.

We use the rest of website for camp planning and camp communication. If you're interested in who we are or what we're working on, please feel free to poke around. You might be entertained!
For direct human contact (Ooo! Kinky!), email Marty at burngreenexpress@gmail.com or call/text him at (206) 769-2092. In general, texting is the way to go.
All finances will be transparent and posted online in January 2009. We volunteer our work and time and we anticipate no profits from our service. If there are profits, they will be returned to the community by charitable donation.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Just letting you know. This means if you were a problem last year, or if you or your camp still owes us money, we know this. And we may say no.
