Eggdog

An eggdog is, as far as ingredients go, nothing more than a veggie hot dog on a bed of cheesy scrambled eggs, neatly tucked in a sourdough bun, with mustard, ketchup or playa added to taste. But those who have tried one know that they are far, far more than that. It is, without hyperbole, "The greatest breakfast of all time." It is now a staple of at least ONE breakfast at any BGX event.

Mythology

Legend has that the eggdog was invented in mid-2007 by Damien and Sar, after waking up and finding no other breakfast-related food in the refrigerator.

Variations

Eggdog Deluxe - This particularly tasty variation was first seen observed in the wild at the Seattle Eeeaster proceedings of 2008. The variation is composed of a standard eggdog presentation, with the egg replaced with the incredibly rich & garlicy substance known as EggThing. The actual ingredients of this concoction are apparently only known to the Dinn family.

Eggdog, No Egg - The origins of this variation are shrouded in deepest mystery, although its often requested as a substitute for those playa dwellers with weaker morning stomaches.
