This list is adapted from an email JenyB sent out for Critical Massive 2008. Some items may not apply to Black Rock City, but it's a good start.

Your Ticket!
Water bottle or camel pak or both
Travel mug/cup with a lid
Plate, Bowl, Cup, Fork, Knife, Spoon and stuff to wash them
Paper towels or napkins
Paper Bags for burnable trash
Plastic trash bags
Drinks for you- soda, juice, powdered cocoa, tea, lemonade, etc.
Tent
Sleeping Bag
Sleeping Pad or foam
Blanket
Pillow
Warm hat for sleeping
Warm Coat for nighttime
Rain Coat, just in case
Headlamp and or Flashlight
Cute clothing/costumes
Comfy clothing for hot days and cold nights
Safer Sex supplies
A set of sheets for communal space cush area
Any pillows, tarps, tapestries, foam bedding, blankets, sheets, blow up exercise balls, yoga mats or anything else that you have for the communal social/chill/sex space.
Work gloves for helping to drive re-bar and pull rebar during set-up & take down
Cigarette Lighter
Cigarette butt can (altoid box or other)
Personal grooming supplies
