Haul Report
In 2007, we provided environmentally conscious delivery services for the following elements of Black Rock City (not including anything from our own camp):
- infrastructure for Black Rock Spacial Delivery
- infrastructure for BRC Emergency Services
- 2 sculptures
- 12 shade structures
- water for 38 participants
- gear and infrastructure for 40 different individuals and camps
History
Burngreen Express is conceptually inspired by the shipping camps that support more distant Burner communities, such as Arizona, New York and Boston. Consolidated shipping camps interact supportively with this year's BRC and future years' BRC by making the Burn more sustainable.
The actual impetus for Burngreen Express came from Joy and Marty when they inherited the reins of a previous Seattle-based shipping service, the Giggles Expresssssss.
