- Catalyst: an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action.
- Instigator: one that urges forward, provokes, incites.
- Creator: one that brings into existence something new or original.
- Imagination: the act or power of forming something not present to the senses or never before wholly perceived in reality.
Some might claim that this whole truck thing was my idea. Don't believe them. They're Burners. Not to be trusted. Unless it's an emergency. But don't trust them if they tell you it's an emergency. My point is: this was Joy's idea. It used to be called the Giggles Expresssssssss back in the ages long gone by when, legend has it, Jenna and Joe were shiny, virginal Burners. But Giggles's thing was smaller, and she got tired of it. So in 2005, she mentioned to Joy and I, while packing our belongings into said truck, that she wanted to turn it over to someone else. 6 months later, while I bemoaned my lack of enthusiasm about camping with TempleWhore again, it was Joy who said,"Maybe we could take over Giggles's truck ..."

Burning Man history
- First time on playa: 4th of Juplaya 2001, with Jenna and Caleb.
- Second time on playa: camping over-night in October 2003 when road-tripping from Boston to Seattle with Joy. Arrived at midnight under full moon. Trash fences were still up and the frog pond was perfect.
- Third time: Burning Man 2004 with Joy, Adele, Jenna and Davalicious.
- Fourth time: Burning Man 2005. With Joy, Adele, Davalicious, David, PJ, and Aaron. First time with a theme camp (TempleWhore). An overall amazing Burn.
- Fifth time: Burning Man 2006. With Joy, Adele, David, Davalicious, and Riff Raff. Met Sar this year at B-Camp and connected with JenyB and BrianB. Camped with TempleWhore again. Many beautiful moments, but overall an incredibly difficult year. Still hard just to think about it.
- Sixth time: Burning Man 2007. First year of BGX. A re-birth metaphorically. Best year yet.
